The Number Cube is a patent-pending redesign of the familiar Rubik’s cube, comprising a 2.94″ x 2.94″ x 2.94″ cube of twenty-seven cube-oid that are arranged the Cube’s six faces, four of which can be rotated. Each cube-oid is made from solid material and measures .95″ x .95″ x .95″.

The assembly and parts of the Number Cube are as represented in the following diagrams. The Number Cube is designed to be fabricated using a 4- or 5- axis CNC mill, or by casting the individual parts. The final assembly is completed by connecting the center cuboids to the central rotating component with screws. Tension supplied by four springs holds other cuboids in the assembly by mechanical locking and friction.
